Sat Oct 17, 2009, 6:08 AM
WAS PRETTY MUCH THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE! <3

Oh. My. Gosh.

I was screaming like a banshee through the whole thing... but so was everyone else, so its ok. The awesome details: Maggot crowd surfed right over me, she spit tea and muffins on us, maggot did awesome tricks with the hola hoop, emilie was amazing (duh), and I was pretty close to the stage. <3

Emilie was absolutely amazing live, I couldn't believe how amazing it was. And I'mma stop fangirling now haha xD

AWESOME!

Thank you for the fave! And I forgot to ask, what did you think of the Harry Potter movie?

No problem!
I saw Harry Potter at midnight and I have to say, I liked it a lot. It is probably my favorite of the movies so far, mostly because it felt like I was watching the book, instead of watching a movie. There were some crucial scenes that were left out, and they added a few things, but I think they made it work. I do think that the director focused more on romance and humor more than the actual plot though, but it was still a good movie all together. Its very different from the other movies : )

Indeed. The only thing that really bothered me was how choppy the flow was. You were switching around from one place to another at no moment's notice. And it didn't seem to connect well with the previous movie. Harry didn't sulk at all about Sirius (when he was flirting with that girl in the beginning I was like "Is this the same Harry?") and you saw almost nothing of the ministry, which was such a big thing in the last movie. Oh, and the scene at the Burrow was worthless. When they were all standing there watching the house burn I wanted to shout "ARE YOU WIZARDS OR AREN'T YOU?!" I mean, come on. That was weak. And don't get me started on Miss-Expressionless-Ginny. She was almost as bad as Kristen Stewart playing Bella, except she didn't look stoned. I was really impressed with the Draco actor's acting. I didn't know he was that good. Even if he looked a bit old throughout the film, but that was because they made him wear that black suit.
Anyways, I agree on the whole it was pretty good and enjoyable  Did you jump when the first Inferi grabbed Harry in the lake? I mean, I knew it was coming, but when it happened, it was still a shock. What was funny was that my friend who I went to watch it with and I both jumped in unison :XD:
The ending bugged me though. It just felt weak and didn't give you any sense of satisfaction. I compared it to the ending of the Third movie, a bit sudden, but very nice and happy and fitting into the movie. The theater I was in when I watched that movie all clapped when it ended. With the sixth movie, all I heard was "Well, it was better than the last one" and at my sister's viewing someone started clapping but stopped when another said "Are you stupid or something?" Yeeeah.
They need a better screenplay writer. And a director to tell Miss-Expressionless to move her face some when she's not snogging. And someone should have made the Dumbledore actor read the books. He had no idea what Dumbledore was like, and that's why the moment's between him and Harry were so strained. Yeah.
